Jangal Jangal baat chali hai pata chala hai...
Arrey Chaddi pehen ke phool khila hai phool khila hai...
Most of us are of the generation that has heard this song atleast once in their lifetime...
But I have seen so many modern Mowglis lately...
Example:

Yeah, this is why I say men's underwear companies don't need to advertise... What is the point in showing females ogling at a male decked in underwear only and facing the wrath of the censor board and then facing PILs by jobless people... and spending so much money on the shooting... enjoy free ki publicity!
Now I know soo many men's underwear brands! Toh khaasa effective bhi hai... 'cheap' bhi... and PILs ka koi tension bhi nahi! Everybody happy! Except the people who have to bear the smell...
P.S. I have to apologise to a lot of guys... Actually, thanks to my camera deprived mobile, yeh haseen real life shots hamesha ke liye frame nahi ho paaye... bada khed hai... :P
If you're thinking I am a feminist coz I wrote only about guys... I am actually straight! ;)
Did Levi's always have the tagline... Live Unbuttoned... or did it come about after the Akshay-Twinkle haadsa???
Chriz's underwear fad is infectious!!!
Did the title attract you? ;)
46 Have had their say...:
yes.. if you had asked me, i would have sent a picture of mine... with the red underwear...
Arey it's fashionable ...to flaunt chaddis :D
but the problem is if u flaunt the same colored chaddis regularly ..say ur fav colored ..ppl start thinking that u don't wash ur chaadis ..and repeat it >:P
LOL'ing post :))
lol.....dusra kaam nahi hai kyaa reee lol
hahaha
actually its a very saddening thing.
someone told me that its the latest fashion for people born with short legs.
poor poor them.
of course the title attracted me. Chaddi is more important than corporate law :P
mast post :D
me and my friend always roll our eyes for guys and girls when they wear low (i mean drop dead low) waist jeans.... :| chiiiiiiiii
yeah what peter said is true...we always see a person repeating same colour many times :| chiii :(
haa haaaa
Lately we've seen many such incidences.... and I must tell you girls are equally culprit of this...
the problem is just that they escape with a word called "Wardrobe-malfunction"
hehe.. we once saw a guy wearing Star India Commander brand undee.. :D
people stoop really low to flaunt their bare belongings.. :D
and why don't you study for your papers and stop ogling at branded bottoms? :D
lolz..I one of my friends in colg used to wear like really low jeans...and everytime one would point to him ..he would say his undy is showing off he would reply 'to kya hua branded hai'..so apni generation will be ready to attach a branded ass if some of the luxury brands plan on making someday :P
awww akansha, mast-topic..lolz.
chaddi getting "pubilc" ; initially it was "personal" :)
and you have told only half the story, girls want to "show" chaddis equally . nahi kya? :P...for well-toned waist-line (even fat one's end up doing this..hehe ) , if not for brand .
guys are so happy to note down the color of the 10-25% visible chaddis. In first year it was every1's duty to decode "color" of the same (u-know-whose)...and make that public...hehe...
Once calamity happened....when even "experts" failed to decode.....actually there was nothing....hahaha...loz...crazy guys world
btw....me big fan of 'mowgli' and that song seems like 'from-heaven' to me.
carry on...kudos! for such funny-topic
Is it all about flaunting chaddis or the brand name written on it? I bet i have seen more calvin klein than rupa macroman written on these private billboards.Guess its not just aaram ka mamla anymore, "have it then flaunt it " mantra has taken over.
lol, now i wonder, what would have been the scenario if ur mobile had a camera! which soul would have made the coverpage of tadka! :D
I agree with stephen ..lol...
But then Yes it has become fashionable now-a -days ... :P
Not for me though :D
And no the title didn't attract me :P
@Chriz
Err, thanks! :)
@Peter
Very true... and Thank you :D
@The Solitary Writer
Hehe... :D :P
@deluded
Well I have short legs and I am not going in for this... Period! ;)
if i had a camera, i would have put picture of 100s of girls who looks exactly like that in their lowww loww waist jeans/trousers etc
And yeah, I would have mentioned the same thing : I am not anti-feminist, I am straight :P
P.S : you have a keen eye to the brands, i still don't know any brands of P******s
Good one Aks...
These guys and their chaddis!!
Be it branded or a local maal...its really pathetic to see them flaunting it!! So proud they are about it!!
Anyway,
Cheers
*PEACE*
This reminded me of all the underwear ads i used to see of my classmate girls during 12th .. hehe
Crappy ppl ya.....

Arjun

@Leo

When you're in a car and a bike stops near your window... makes for an excellent shot!Camera or revolver... your choice... ;)
@Anurag

R(T&J)
Hehe... :D haan it is crappy...

@Aruna

@akansha : i knew me had done 'over-specification' in the comment.
@Aparna
Arrey yaar... my mobile doesn't have a camera... and my camera isn't exactly mobile... :P
There was this guy in college who used to wear his pants so low, that one got a generous view of his chaddis, whether you asked for it or not! I was mesmerized by it, not that it was visually appealing in ANY way! But I found myself wondering how further low can he wear his pants, before they finally gave away! But his pants defied gravity! He was way too "cool" to carry a bag to college to hold his books. He used to roll and carry a single notebook in the back pocket of his jeans, which further put a strain on his pants. But miraculously in the two years of junior college, his pants not only refused to give away but had even endured strenuous athletic events on college sports day! I had never met a guy like him and hope never to be flashed chaddis and butt cleft ever again in life! But I guess wherever he is now, with the new "unbuttoned" range of denims he must have found nirvana.

1st time reader of ur blog and i really liked it...
hmm so to start things off, nice post

we have a special category of people in our college, who are members of the ultra-low no butt club :D [err.. does that need be censored?]
and...
I knew someone who stitched Hilfiger labels on to his local brand wares so that he could show it off with... PRIDE [?]
and you are a feminist... for sure! call it straight feminism... :D
Great post and fundu comments before me. :)

Velu
